Some stories write themselves…and some take years, and years…well this particular one has been waiting in the drafts for a long, long time. Every time I went back to it I just couldn’t find the words, I couldn’t express all of the oddness, craziness, and horror on the page! I came close, but it didn’t ever seem quite right…
So at long last it is done! But in the form of a video – seriously the funniest one so far, and well worth a watch! If people need a giggle…and also a way to not fall asleep at night (sorry in advance for the impending nightmares!) then press that play button!

lol. I can’t believe I watched the whole video!!! I just couldn’t look away 🙂 Great story. scary, but great. I had a stalker once–and I thought she was psycho…well she was, she was and probably still is…..but at least no spikes in my head..?!!!. Thankfully you’re ok. Now go have a cup of tea.

It brings me only sadness, that I missed this when it first went up.
Except for the joy of having watched it now, lol.
To answer your question, no, we don’t *typically* behave like that… but our filters are a little less–what’s the word? precise? finely-meshed?–than yours. More things make it through the brain and out the mouth, in America as opposed to Britain. And there certainly *is* a lot more scope for being raised rurally, e.g. on a farm, possibly home-schooled, possibly by religious fundies… if you’ve ever read a Stephen King novel, you know how THAT always turns out (“Carrie! They’re ALL GONNA LAUGH AT YOU….”)
I watched this with a couple of people, and we were all pissing ourselves (figuratively speaking) and they assure me that, for all the intense eye contact and slightly inappropriate comments (more inappropriate after a few bottles of Scrumpy/Kopparberg/Old Mout) I in no way resemble The Little Psycho, and all Americans are *not* like that.
But they *would* say that, wouldn’t they? *head tilt*

hahaha yes how can I trust any one of you people?! 😉 But seriously Amanda I feel like it’s a bigger place, and therefore you have waaaay more of an opportunity for there to be more crazies, and yes the whole rural thing/no contact with humans thing is probably a major cause of said madness! I actually felt like I was in a movie.
