A little bit of light at the end of the tunnel…unfortunately the girl who was crying, hasn’t returned this week (so far)

  1. It is a shame that the crying girl’s mother is so ignorant. But this letter, these are the kinds of things which give us hope. =)

    • Exactly Aidan 🙂 I’m sure through your studies you have had many “banging head against a brick wall” moments – when you know people will just never understand anything outside of their pre-set ignorance. It’s a massive shame. But yes, there is hope!

  2. Awwww 🙂 congratulations! You are obviously doing a great job, and people can see that and appreciate it. Keep your chin up, people will come around. And even if they don’t, it seems like you still have other people in your corner 🙂 as well as other bloggers!

    • I’ massively buzzing with this! It’s going on the fridge, like literally haha!

I love the blogging world, they’re awesome – which is an overused phrase, but it literally fits in this circumstance 😀 there’s always so much love.

  3. This is just what you needed. At least you know you are doing a great job, and that some people appreciate your efforts. You tried your best with the other little girl; so don’t feel bad.

  4. That was cute, a bit sad the girl didn´t come back but you sure seem to be a cool competent teacher. If they don´t see the video of you singing that is…. 😉

Stay Frosty my man, you truly do a good job.

  5. Little notes like that are like gold dust to a teacher – so precious and valuable – yet often few and far between. Well done Angela’s mum for writing in, and congratulations on clearly being an excellent teacher. I have treasured mine and kept them – those are the notes that keep you going.

  6. Yay! Hopefully news will spread of your teaching and the mother of the crying girl will rethink. Or maybe it’s for the best. Who knows. But keep on doing what your doing! Looks like it’s working!

  7. The old cliche…”You can’t win them all” really works when it comes to teaching. That was a hard lesson for me to learn. Even when they are little, they have personalities that are unique. Do the best “you”, and you will always come out ahead. Enjoy the small successes, and forget the ones you may lose. ☺

  8. Perhaps the note-writer Hannah had seen your blog? or else Angela relayed the incident with the crying girl & her mother. Wouldn’t it be nice if Hannah had a chat with the other mother . .I think that would have more influence in changing her her view than anything else.
